I am going to start this piece off by proclaiming a very strong feeling that keeps bubbling up inside of me: Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot.

Now back to the program already in progress.

I am sure most of the free world has heard what came out of Limbaugh’s mouth last week. My first reaction was that I was having a mini stroke because I thought I had heard him call a Georgetown coed a slut and a prostitute because she wanted to have so much sex and she wants us to pay so she can have protected sex 15 times a day.

Then I listened to his diatribe again and again. And for the record he did call Sandra Fluke a slut, a prostitute and then conceded that she is round-heeled (a term he probably heard on the playground. It means a loose woman.) *

I have to say if Sandra Fluke was my daughter (and I would be proud to have her as one), I would have gone to the radio station and bitch slapped that blowhard within a hair of his life. He does not get it that he insulted someone’s child. He insulted all of us women.

For the record, Rush, birth control pills are not just for having wild, crazy sex on the kitchen floor. Besides being a very effective way at preventing unwanted pregnancies, they are used to help women who are dealing with other health issues that have nothing to do with getting it on with Marvin Gaye playing in the background.**

Not that you would ever be that cool and play Marvin Gaye.

And if Sandra Fluke and the rest of the sluts are taking birth control, who do you think they are having sex with? That’s right – it’s men. So why is the burden of paying for birth control just on the women? Get the men to pay for it. I think decent men would want to make love to a Feminazi would gladly share the financial burden of birth control. Rush, you can sit this one out.

And another benefit of using birth control is that is cuts down on the number of dead beat dads who feel they can put their willies wherever they want, but once the by-product of a drunken night shows up, they disappear . We end up taking care of children who are being neglected, abused and in some cases killed. Kind of makes birth control sound like a better option, eh? An option that perhaps our tax dollars should go towards. One less dead kid works for me. Why doesn’t it work for you?

That is why birth control is not just for partying and throwing up in your shoes any more. And, Rush, if you do take a lot of birth control pills at once as you suggested, you will throw up and grow even bigger breasts

Women have so much they have to handle in today’s world: work in or outside the home, raising children, caring for aging or sick parents, making their dollars stretch and working on their own goals and dreams. So if ourΒ health insurance plansΒ help pay for their birth control so they don’t have to bring unwanted children into the world, well, won’t that make us a more compassionate nation?

In closing, Mr. Limbaugh, I just wish your mother had been on the pill. I would have insisted on paying for it with my allowance.

*”What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex — what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.”
