We are born Avatars of our self. Over the course of life we refine our self. Most people choose to stay Avatars of them self. Some refine themselves to awesomeness and make a difference. You however are different. Why? Because you are here reading this. You are looking to be your divine self. In order to do that you have to learn to embody something greater than your Self  (id and ego). A great example of this is the Dalai Llama. He has chosen to be the living embodiment of Compassion. To be an Avatar of Compassion.

That is what the power of I AM is about. Find an emotion, concept, or Divine being that moves you above all others and right now choose to stand for it, choose to embody it, and say out loud “I AM the Avatar of (fill in the blank).”. It works. I originally said,”I AM the Avatar of Humanity.” and then I started working for the greater good of all around me. That led me to later saying,”I AM the Avatar of Gaea.” and the life force of the planet itself spoke to me and started teaching me.

Later on I said, “I AM the Avatar of Grace.” and the universe itself started teaching me. What did Grace and I end up doing? Spending a year together making preparations yesterdays World Healing Day. Now I have 22 students that I teach by talking about myself, my own failings, and what I learned from my mistakes. At this point the closest thing I have to a regret is not choosing to embody something of divine import to me earlier.

Where would I be now if fifteen years ago I had said, “I AM the Avatar of Love.”?

Stop right now and think about what is important to you. Is it love, faith, truth, hope, compassion, peace, or your deity? Then choose to become the living embodiment of that.

So if you were Christian that would go something like this:

I AM filled with the Holy Spirit.
I AM a child of God.
I AM the glory of God in the flesh.

You’ll start walking towards that Truth.

If you can’t say those words out loud right now then say this:

I AM in need of God’s grace, wisdom, and love.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marriane Williamson – A Return to Love
