Me: awake, clean, clothed and in my right mind.
Starbucks: jazz through the speakers, latte foam in my cup, intermittent steamy espresso machine hisses.
Life: complex, hopeful, saturated with possibilities.

So many happy places. Anywhere, playing with our 2-year-old grandson. Watching our dogs and cat sleep contentedly. In the hot tub late evening, overlooking the tidal marsh behind our house, listening to the night sounds.
It all sounds wonderful!
In my grandmother’s rocker on my porch…watching the birds…squirrels…chipmunks…butterflies…sunshining…priceless.
