From a wide perspective, two minutes looks like no time at all; however, when we are under pressure and emails are pouring in faster than water at Niagara Falls, two minutes can seem like an eternity if not used “efficiently.”
Today, I happened upon a website that encourages the user to do nothing for two minutes. I encourage you to do the same, no matter how busy, how tight your deadline, or whatever excuse you want to come up with – just take two minutes and do nothing. Life will not end, although, your stress levels will reduce, and no one wants that. Right?
Just pause, breathe, and listen to the waves and life will feel lighter. I promise.
Seed: Take at least two minutes a day to be still, this will profoundly lower your stress level and increase productivity. If you can stand being still for longer, do so.
Did you survive the two minute challenge?

I took the 2-minute challenge. I closed my eyes and listened to the waves. I found it hard to not do anything. But I did it, and remarkably, I feel refreshed. That’s like a mini-vacation.
Two minutes? Do nothing for two minutes? You are right, in these times, when everyone is frantic to get to the next activity, a simple two-minute recess can work wonders. It’s good advice. Now I just need to do it. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! I need to play this at night when I’m trying to fall asleep and desperately trying to ignore the unfinished daily TTD list that runs through my mind. Thanks Josh!
