Is ADHD over-diagnosed? Over-medicated? Do you have it? Do your kids? Friday, November 18, 10-11am EST, Radio Therapist Ms. Hicks is joined on Here Women Talk.com Internet Radio by Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, Master Certified Coach, Senior Certified ADHD Coach, President of JST Coaching, LLC, and recognized by many of her peers as the foremost expert in the field of ADHD coaching for youth.
Her first book, Empowering Youth With ADHD: Your Guide to Coaching Adolescents and Young Adults for Coaches, Parents, and Professionals provides a powerful new guide to improving the lives of youth with ADHD through coaching. “This is a ‘whole child’ approach,” says Sleeper-Triplett. “Whether it’s a coach, a parent, or a professional, there is a growing desire for people to learn the techniques that work. Coaching is the missing piece of the ADHD intervention enigma.”

They usually have a very active call-in program. I encourage you to pick up the phone, call-in, and ask questions specific to yourself. It’s Friday morning, 10-11am EST. Call-in 877-500-9387.
Perfect, Diane! And your episode of WIMG is immediately following Psyched, discussing ADHD. I encourage you to call into Psyched, maybe halfway through the show, and let their listeners know what you have coming up immediately following their show. Another idea, it would be good for you and Shirill to meet. I wonder if you’d like to connect with Shirill — maybe she’ll give you a plug for your show when she closes her show.
Such an important topic, Kay. Thanks so much for sharing. This also might be of interest: On Friday, Dec 2 at 11 am EST, Where Is My Guru is welcoming two organizations bringing yoga to children with special needs, including those living with ADHD, and exploring alternatives to medicating children.
